The Punisher And Deadpool Square Off In New Fan-Made Trailer

Even though we as comic book fans have been experiencing an embarrassment of riches in recent years, we can't help but lament the fact that certain Marvel characters can't meet up in live action due to some red tape that's seemingly stronger than any adamantium-vibranium alloy imagined. Sure, Disney's Marvel Studios may have license to the wealth of them, but it's Fox that owns the cinematic rights to characters residing under the X-Men and Fantastic Four umbrellas.

So, for the time being, we’re going to have to rely on things such as fan-made trailers to help hold back our tears. And thanks to YouTuber Stryder HD, we now have a fair idea of what a death match involving The Punisher and Deadpool would look like. Well, they did square off in a recent comic book miniseries, but that’s a conversation for another day.

In this particular trailer, we see footage from Frank Castle’s upcoming Netflix series and what are mostly scenes culled from Wade Wilson’s first solo outing on the big screen being cut together. And, in all honesty, it’s done quite well, with two of Marvel’s most popular bad boys hunting each other down.

There’s just one thing, however, that’s a bit off-putting, and that’s the fact that each of these anti-heroes can be seen killing the other’s loved ones. I mean, neither are strangers to racking up body counts, but there are lines that shouldn’t be crossed. Really, it’s hard to root for either after witnessing that.

Anyways, we’re interested in hearing who you think would come out on top if The Punisher and Deadpool met at high noon, so be sure to place your bets in the comments section below!
