For the second chapter in the Divergent series, the story picks up where the first movie left off – with Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) wanted fugitives on the run. Judging by the handful of new scenes interspersed in this clip, Kate Winslet’s back as the villainous Jeanine with Miles Teller’s duplicitous runt back in the action as we see him holding Tris at gunpoint.

With the young adult dystopia adaptation craze showing no sign of stopping, there’s still hope that the Divergent franchise may stray away from the pack. Will director Robert Schwentke put a new spin on what’s emerging as a by-the-numbers phenomenon? Will Tris turn out to be a fairy/werewolf/or vampire? And most importantly, will we discover why everyone in the film mispronounces erudite?

We’ll update you with the latest trailer this Friday, and any other new details on the film before Insurgent arrives in theatres on March 20th, 2015

THE DIVERGENT SERIES: INSURGENT raises the stakes for Tris as she searches for allies and answers in the ruins of a futuristic Chicago. Tris (Woodley) and Four (James) are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine (Winslet), the leader of the power-hungry Erudite elite. Racing against time, they must find out what Tris’s family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them. Haunted by her past choices but desperate to protect the ones she loves, Tris, with Four at her side, faces one impossible challenge after another as they unlock the truth about the past and ultimately the future of their world.
