Avicii might be getting ready to retire from touring soon, but he’s far from done with making music. The Swedish producer has made it clear that he’ll by no means stop putting out new material just because he’s done with the tour life, and to prove that, he dropped a new track today in the form of a remix for his track “Feeling Good.”
First released last year, the song sampled Nina Simone’s soulful original while the remix brings in some electro elements to make the track dance floor ready. What Avicii’s done here works rather well, and while it’s far from his most impressive effort, it still makes for another solid release from the world famous DJ.
Accompanying “Feeling Good (Avicii by Avicii)” was a music video, which peels back the curtain on Tim Bergling’s life for the past little while, with numerous shots of the producer on the road and playing shows. It’s a reflective, appropriate clip and serves the song well.
