Following heavy anticipation since the release of his self-titled debut album in 2012, Australian future bass producer Flume has revealed the first glimpses of his upcoming sophomore effort Skin, dropping a five minute teaser packed full of new music.
The Skin preview runs through several cuts from the album, giving fans their first taste of Flume’s latest creations. With plenty of chugging, head nodding beats to go around, the teasers also feature heavy with time stretched vocals, uplifting melodies and glitched out sound design.
Upon the release of the preview, Flume informed fans that the latest release is nearing completion. Listeners have eagerly awaited new music from the acclaimed producer following comments last year that a new album was on the way, and judging by the Skin teaser, that anticipation has not been misplaced.
With the new album looming on the horizon, Flume is set to take over 2016 and further establish himself as one of EDM’s most forward thinking producers.
