“I’m a big fan of Martin’s music and his skills as a DJ and producer. The creative process flowed naturally from the start and I’m very happy with how the song turned out. There’s a reason why Martin is one of the hottest artists on the planet right now,”Tiesto says.

“The opportunity for me to work with my hero Tiësto was such an incredible experience. We really got to combine both of our visions on this track and the result is simply amazing. Couldn’t be more pleased with the end result.” Garrix said.

Keeping in line with most of Martin’s recent work, “The Only Way Is Up’ relies less on heavy bass and big room beats and instead uses an uplifting synth progression and chopped up vocal samples, which give it more of a progressive and refreshing feel. The track is a bit of a departure for Tiesto, too, as it steers away from some of the more electro sounds that he’s been working with lately. Overall, it’s a very catchy tune and another impressive effort from both producers.
