Skrillex and Diplo’s Jack Ü project took home the gold this week, grabbing up the coveted collaboration of the year at the American Music Awards for their work together on the smash hit “Where Are Ü Now?” with Justin Bieber.
Before taking to the stage at the ceremony to accept their latest honor, though, the two producers stopped for a quick chat with Frankie Grande and Bailee Madison, where they wound up casually dropping some major news.
When questioned about the future of the Jack Ü project, Skrillex coyly mentioned that fans can expect a new release in the near future:
We’re kinda doing everything, we’re working on a new Jack Ü EP for early next year, just a lot of stuff, we’re always working together on a lot of different projects.
Not one to give away too many details, all we know so far is that we can expect a new EP in early 2016. Jack Ü made a splash in the EDM world when they released their debut album earlier this year, and fans will no doubt rejoice at the news of an impending release.
