Hardwell has released the official music video for “Echo,” a single from the dutch progressive house icon’s debut album, United We Are.
As we’ve talked about before, the song stands out as an unexpected gem on the DJ/producer’s first full-length effort, and the video makes for a fitting accompaniment. It tells a melancholy story of an old man’s remorse over a lost love as he wanders through snow-covered mountains.
Clips of trance vocalist Jonathan Mendelsohn singing in the same setting effectively tie it to the track itself, which shot to #1 on the iTunes charts in Holland immediately after its release and #2 worldwide shortly thereafter.
