Man, I certainly hope the upcoming second episode of Sonic 4 is going to be awesome, because it looks like Sonic Team doesn’t plan on doing any more episodes after Episode 2.
In an interview with Digital Spy, Producer Takashi Iizuka said the following:
We are looking forward to hearing the feedback from the users for Episode 2, but we are currently not planning to release another episode. We just want to see how the users accept this episode.
You know what that means? Maybe we’ll see a disc-based “complete” release with the two episodes on it. Or maybe we won’t. If the second episode is as short as the first, it probably wouldn’t be enough to warrant the disc-based release. Oh well.
