Captain Boomerang Actor Teases Return To Arrow And The DC TV Universe

These days, DC TV crossovers are epic, status quo changing events taking place over several nights, but the first Arrow/The Flash mashup saw Oliver Queen and Barry Allen joining forces to take on Nick Tarabay's Captain Boomerang. Imprisoned at the end of the two-parter by the Green Arrow, he's not been seen since, something which can likely be blamed on a big screen version of the villain being introduced by Jai Courtney in Suicide Squad last August. However, as you can see below, Tarabay has taken to Twitter to tease a return to the DC TV Universe. When and where he'll show up isn't clear, but it definitely appears as if he's coming back in the near future.

Imprisoned at the end of the two-parter by the Green Arrow, he’s not been seen since, something which can likely be blamed on a big screen version of the villain being introduced by Jai Courtney in Suicide Squad last August. However, as you can see below, Tarabay has taken to Twitter to tease a return to the DC TV Universe. When and where he’ll show up isn’t clear, but it definitely appears as if he’s coming back in the near future.

Fans of the comic books will know that Boomerang most frequently clashes with the Scarlet Speedster, but considering the fact that he served more as an antagonist for the Emerald Archer, it seems likely we’ll see him target Star City in Arrow. There’s no way to know for sure as of right now though, especially when you take into account just how connected these shows are. Legends of Tomorrow is another possibility as well, of course, but Boomerang does seem better suited to Arrow or The Flash. Who knows, perhaps he’ll end up taking aim at both of the heroes?

We’ll just have to wait and see, but expect to hear more updates on the Arrow villain over the next few weeks.
