Lance Finally Learns The Truth In New Arrow Images

To me, one of the most intriguing aspects of Arrow's current season has been that of the Black Siren situation. So far, she's proven to be one of the most ambiguous and duplicitous people to have ventured to Star City in quite some time, siding with the other criminals to terrorize the town all the while Quentin Lance tries to bring her back from the abyss.

But most unfortunate for the new mayor is that his not-daughter is spending a lot of time with crime lord Ricardo Diaz, some information that he’ll become privy to before long. In fact, the accompanying gallery shows Lance is about to learn the truth in next week’s episode, “Shifting Allegiances.”

Now, as you peruse these images, we ask that you that you slow down once you arrive at the ones to include Quentin and Laurel. Really, it plays out like a bizarrely hilarious flip book, and I wouldn’t doubt if the photo where the former has a look of pure rage on his face gets turned into a meme.

Despite Diaz assuming he holds all the cards, we can’t rule out Black Siren pulling an eleventh hour defection – or shifting her allegiance, if you will – because her boss is so brutish. Personally, I see her as a woman who made some wrong choices and essentially became a gun-for-hire. But as we learned in last night’s episode, “The Dragon,” she seems to think there’s an unnecessary barbarism to Diaz’s actions, thus forcing me to think her loyalty isn’t set in stone.
