New Arrow Clips Reveal Why Deathstroke Is Willing To Team Up With Oliver

After being left less than satisfied by season 4, I must say that I share the jubilation expressed by other longtime fans of Arrow having witnessed the series return to form in the past year with what has been a truly incredible fifth season. Seeing as how the star-studded finale is merely hours away from airing, let's hope that it delivers by offering a conclusion worthy of the 22 episodes that paved its way.

Now, as we countdown the time, the network has opted to circulate a featurette as they usually do, with executive producer Wendy Mericle once again giving us the guided tour. Having also co-written the episode with Marc Guggenheim, it’s understandable that she’d want to avoid major spoilers, but it’s pretty cool to get a few more glimpses at a returning Manu Bennett as Deathstroke.

On that note, a sneak peek released in conjunction with the first video reveals why Deathstroke is willing to team up with Oliver, something that’s been bugging us all. As it turns out, the answer is simple: The Mirakuru has worn off and it appears as though the Slade Wilson that was once one of our hero’s closest allies is back. Needless to say, this should make for some interesting television.
