Brie Larson uses tarot cards to predict her future just in time for ‘The Marvels’ massive delay

It doesn't get more serendipitous than this.

It’s the first day of March, aka Women’s History Month, so you know what that means. It’s time for Brie Larson to draw a new tarot card.

The MCU actress shared her results on Twitter today, writing “New month, new tarot pull. How’s March looking for everyone else?”

The card Larson pulled happens to be the Four of Wands, which for all intents and purposes is a wonderful card to pull. It suggests harmony is imminent, as well as balance and positive developments in one’s relationship. The recipient of this card has earned the fruits of their labor and can now sit back and relax. For Larson, whose upcoming movie The Marvels was just hit with a massive delay, the card couldn’t be more timely.

It’s no secret that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been stuttering along lately, especially after the insipid release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. With The Marvels now shouldering the burden of the MCU’s Phase Five, Larson is going to need all the rest and relaxation she can get before she jumps on the press tour bandwagon and all the subsequent publicity.

With Iman Vellani picking up the mantel set down by Larson, there’s relaxation to be had, for sure. In Sept. 2022, Larson acknowledged the onslaught of hate she’s received, and continues to receive, for playing Captain Marvel in the MCU, suggesting her superhero storyline could be on its last leg. Just last week, she even praised Velani for being the future of the MCU, i.e. The Marvels could actually be her last hoorah as Carol Danvers.

For someone whose been unfairly trolled for this many years, is it any wonder the fates offered her the Four of Wands card? If anyone deserves some R&R, it’s her. You go do you, Brie. Happy Women’s History Month.
