Donald Trump’s history-making tenure as the holder of the highest office in the land continued in all the wrong ways when he became the first current or former president in history to be charged with a crime, and you can bet there aren’t many people happier about it than Stormy Daniels.
Having made it her mission to fight fire with fire and respond to the trolls with verbal destruction on a daily basis, the former porn star has earned the right to be in a celebratory mood. Of course, one obvious downside is that the hatred coming her way is bound to become even more acerbic now that charges are being brought against the former host of The Apprentice, but you’d imagine she’s developed a fairly thick skin ever since the scandal first broke.
Everyone was waiting to hear what Daniels had to say when the news went public, and it shouldn’t be to the surprise of anyone that one of the first thoughts on her mind was popping the cork and having a glass of champagne. Never one to pass up an opportunity, though, the two-time pornographic Hall of Famer also shilled some of her merchandise for good measure.
The outlandish political circus continues, then, and while you’d expect Trump to go down swinging should the worst case scenario unfold – with reports claiming that dozens of charges could end up being filed once the details are hammered out – Daniels is going to be laughing all the way to the bank as her profile continues to rise in tandem with her former fling’s gradual decline.
