The campaign to save Warrior Nun barrels on against all odds. Fans are determined to see Alba Baptista back on their screens as Ava Silva — and the show’s creator, Simon Barry, is with them all the way.
Ever since Netflix brought down the axe on Warrior Nun after only two seasons back in December, the masses have been doing everything in their power to save the show. The cancellation left a bad taste in fans’ mouths, who widely consider it unfounded and unjust, although unsurprising. The network does have a reputation for cutting successful fantasy series short, after all.
From massive billboard signs to tweets, the #SaveWarriorNun campaign has become a phenomenon fully endorsed by Barry, who continuously urges fans to not give up their efforts. As an incentive, he has even gotten into the habit of rewarding those participating in the movement with behind-the-scenes goodies. Appreciated though that might be, at the moment, there’s nothing fans want more than an update on the situation, needing to know if their efforts are getting any closer to being paid off.
Fortunately, Barry has shown to be willing to provide the answers fans need, but at a price. When someone suggested on Twitter that the showrunner give fans the update they crave when (or if) the campaign reaches 20 million tweets, Barry promptly agreed.
Now, all there is left for fans to do is keep tweeting — a task that is way more easily said than done. Sadly, the Halo Bearers don’t seem very confident that the number will be reached any time soon and have made sure to express it to Barry. The fandom has been working tirelessly, and excitement seems to be dwindling.

this is almost imposible considering it took us too much work to get to 10m when we were barely 2m away that plus considering the fandom is tired and I see less and less warrior nun on my tl 20m won’t happen, sorry. if you wanted to update us you would have. Will all my respect.

Whether or not Warrior Nun gets picked up for another season, the effort fans have put into this campaign is noticeable, and they deserve all the gifts Barry can offer.
