While BTS has already shared several books and series chronicling their remarkable decade-long journey in the demanding and highly competitive music industry – including an exercise book designed to help foreigners learn Korean – they have yet to venture into the realm of literature by releasing a memoir. However, recent speculation fueled by a suspicious TikTok suggests that BTS might in fact be preparing their own story. So, what is it about this speculation that has captured people’s attention and led them to believe that BTS is preparing to release a memoir?

BTS fans, lovingly known as ARMY, have been fortunate to receive a series of exciting announcements recently. According to some online theorists, a new memoir could be the next addition to this wave of good news. It all began when the owner of Good Neighbor Bookstore, an indie bookshop, unveiled details about a forthcoming memoir. Spanning an impressive 544 pages and featuring 40 full-color photographs, the book is set to hit the shelves on July 9. The official announcement is scheduled for June 13, when we will also learn about the brilliant mind behind this upcoming nonfiction work.

In the video, the bookstore owner revealed that a major publisher, now known to be Flatiron, had shared with them the news of a secret memoir slated for a July release. The video also contained a myriad of Easter eggs and clues, igniting curiosity about the celebrity author. Almost instantly, the cryptic TikTok sparked a frenzy across internet circles, capturing the attention of Twitter and TikTok users alike. As speculation intensified, a viral theory emerged, suggesting that the memoir might be helmed by none other than Miss Taylor Swift herself.

Naturally, speculation surrounding Taylor Swift’s memoir is certainly the subject of gullibility, as Swifties are known for their meticulous exploration of anything related to Taylor. However, an intriguing twist came when a gossipy bookstagrammer claimed to have received “multiple confirmations” that the enigmatic book actually belonged to BTS. Adding fuel to the speculation, this revelation intertwined the release date of July 9 with BTS’ commemoration of ARMY Day. Additionally, the official announcement on June 13 coincides with BTS’ 10-year anniversary since the release of their debut single.

Of course, until substantial evidence emerges, these rumors remain mere theories from passionate fans. As much as everyone would love for the nonfiction book to chronicle the journey of either BTS or Taylor Swift, the truth will only be revealed on June 13. Until then, we can only wait in anticipation.
