‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ fans thirst over the deleted scene James Gunn never dared to deliver

They can forgive, but they'll never forget.

Most MCU enthusiasts will agree that Guardians of the Galaxy was a great watch, however, it failed to make good on all of its promises. To the disappointment of many, a thirst-inducing scene fans were teased with in one of the trailers for the film never made it into the final cut, and the people never forgot about it.

Now, with the Guardians hype back on high following the release of Vol. 3, folks are rehashing this old grudge, with an appropriate amount of thirsting in the mix, of course. The scene in question featured a nude Gamora (played by Zoe Saldaña), and while it’s not clear where in the movie this situation would fit in, fans aren’t very concerned with that detail right now. They have far more important things to do, like contemplate Saldaña’s beauty.

Clearly, viewers find it unfair for James Gunn to bait them with something only to never deliver it. In fairness, though, unnecessary scenes get cut from films all the time, so it’s understandable why Gunn opted to pull this one.

That said, Marvel fans have been known to thirst over several characters in the franchise and while recently that has applied mostly to villains, the heroes have attracted their fair share of saucy comments online. Green ladies, in particular, seem to be a hit among viewers, since Gamora is not the first character this has happened to.

Thankfully, despite Gunn’s deleted scene betrayal, fans are inclined to forgive him, considering the great work he did on the latest Guardians installment.
