Ansel Elgort skillfully teases his fans with hints about his popular Max series Tokyo Vice, leaving them yearning for more.
Tokyo Vice, which premiered on the network last year, follows Elgort’s character Jake Adelstein, an American journalist who works for a Tokyo publication, as he goes toe to toe with one of the city’s crime bosses. The series, based on Adelstein’s autobiography of the same name, also stars Koshi Uehara, Ken Watanabe, Rachel Keller, Shô Kasamatsu, Ella Rumpf, Rinko Kikuchi, Shun Sugata, Takaki Uda, Kosuke Tanaka and many more.
Since Tokyo Vice‘s debut on Max in April 2022, the show has received positive reviews, earning an 85 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and was renewed for a second season.
