‘She wins the presidency of the United States’: Even Fox News is already predicting that Kamala Harris is going to beat Donald Trump

Oh, how the turntables have turned.

The road to the presidential election has encompassed a number of unpredictable swerves, and we can now add another to that ever-growing list as we get ever-closer to this November. Fox News, the favorite network of anyone who proudly owns a MAGA hat, is predicting that Donald Trump will lose the election to Kamala Harris.

In a clip that’s going viral for its sheer shock factor, Fox News’s Bret Baier outlines the predicted outcome of “the path to 270” based on current polls and, almost to his disbelief, he declares that Democratic candidate Harris will beat Trump in the race. Baier notes that Georgia is a key swing state as it was the tightest call between Biden and Trump back in 2020, although the latter had a clear lead on his opponent back in April. Since Harris took over the ballot, however, this has dramatically flipped in Harris’ favor.

“Harris has a two-point lead in our latest poll,” Baier declares, with a solemn expression, as if he’s a doctor delivering a bad diagnosis. Or he knows thousands of viewers are about to throw their remotes at their TVs in anger. “If that lead holds, she wins Georgia, she wins the presidency of the United States.”

Just like that first debate kerfuffle, the Biden/Harris switcheroo, and Trump’s assassination attempt, Fox News predicting a Kamala win was not on any of our bingo cards.

Spare a thought for poor Donny at this difficult time, as you know he would have turned an even angrier shade of orange after watching this. As would one of his far-right flying monkeys, Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is no doubt unhappy that her state could be the one to spell Trump’s undoing.

Somebody should check on Baier after this surprising broadcast, though. He might as well have doused a MAGA hat in gasoline and set it alight live on air, before feeding the fire with one of Trump’s new “patriotic” picture books.

Fox News’ prediction isn’t happening in a vacuum. Harris’ ascent from Vice President to presidential candidate has completely changed the game, and encouraged a wider range of citizens to start voting than ever before. Voter registration among women of color has skyrocketed since Kamala replaced Biden on the ballot, with recent stats finding that a whopping 175% increase has occurred in the number of young Black female voters, 150% in young Latina women, and 98% in Black women in general.

With Trump facing a fresh indictment and potential jail time, not to mention resorting to the absolute scummiest attempts to besmirch the competition’s character, there’s a very real feeling that the wheels are coming off the tangerine tyrant’s campaign. Maybe JD Vance can try and replace them with donuts.
