In 2024 this MAGA mom crowed over ‘liberal tears’, now her family has ‘NO income’ and ‘we are desperate’

You reap what you sow.

Life comes at you fast, but particularly so for Trump voters. A year ago, they were hooting and hollering about Donald Trump‘s victory over Kamala Harris. Honestly, if they believed Trump would do everything he promised, they had every right to be upbeat. It was finally time to Make America Great Again! Again!

Smash cut to now, and America is further away from greatness than ever. Trump’s tariffs have generated widespread economic chaos, we’ve had a series of disturbing revelations about his close relationship with the modern era’s most notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, and the ongoing government shutdown means millions are working without pay.

For proof of how this dose of reality is hitting Trump voters, let’s look to Christine, aka X user @lovefortexasatx. Her bio indicates she’s a textbook MAGA mom who prioritizes family, God, and country: “Proud Mom of 2. Patriot, Army brat, DAR, Army wife, daughter, sister, & granddaughter of generations who served.”

Oh no! The consequences of my actions!

In Dec. 2024, Christine crowed, “All your liberal years make me happy” and on election day was “Crying tears of joy!!” over Trump’s victory. A year later, and she’s still crying… though they’re now just regular ol’ tears of misery. Writing a text to Trump and Pete Hegseth, she wailed:

“My husband is in the TX National Guard & is not being paid while he’s working. This is a disgrace to our Country. I recently got laid off from my private sector job & now we have NO income. We are desperate. I’ve never been in this position before. Please help us.”

It’s easy (also fun) to laugh at these kinds of hateful people being knocked down a peg by their own decisions, but we should remember that even the very stupid and misguided don’t deserve poverty. Or, if you think they do, then their kids probably don’t deserve to starve just because their parents are gullible rubes conned by a reality TV star.

But, sadly, things are only going to get worse for people like Christine. Trump is clearly in no hurry to end the government shutdown, and Republicans don’t seem particularly eager to negotiate with their Democratic counterparts.

Even if the shutdown did end tomorrow, that wouldn’t solve the massive economic damage Trump and his cronies have done and are doing to the country. Unfortunately for Christine and those like her, the days of a comfortable income and job security may be gone for good, and for that they can thank the grinning buffoon they installed in the White House.

But look on the bright side Christine! While you and your family go hungry, at least Trump gets to enjoy his $250 million ballroom!
