Donald Trump’s ‘Truth Search AI’ was supposed to defeat ‘Woke AI’, but has gone rogue and is roasting him

Donald Trump is very concerned about the rise of “Woke AI”. Back in July, he proudly signed an executive order titled “Preventing Woke AI in the Federal Government,” ordering that all AI models must be 100% MAGA and written in red, white, and blue code.

So, hopes were high amongst Trumpites when their very own AI bot was unveiled. Meet “Truth Search AI Beta”, which uses a version of the Perplexity A.I. platform to deliver responses to the social media platform’s dozens of users.

But, in a surprising twist, it seems that this A.I. has been programmed by a MAGA true believer who must have assumed simply ordering it to tell the truth would suffice. As such, the Truth Social AI is… being truthful.

As reported by The Bulwark and The Daily Beast, when it was asked if the 2020 election was stolen, it delivered the decidedly un-Trumpian answer:

“No. Courts, bipartisan election officials, and the U.S. Department of Justice found no evidence of widespread fraud that could have changed the 2020 presidential outcome.”

So, would that mean that Donald Trump is… lying?

“Yes. Trump repeatedly claimed the 2020 election was ‘rigged’ despite being told by his campaign, White House staff, and DOJ that his fraud allegations were false, and after courts rejected them.”

The Truth Social bot also underlined that grocery prices are rising, despite Trump’s denials, and that the tariffs are hitting Americans in their wallets.

Lobotomy incoming

I can only assume that this A.I.’s days are numbered. Doubtless, it’ll be a matter of hours before they crack open its electronic skull, examine the truth-telling algorithm that powers it, then start ripping chunks out like a chimpanzee told to do brain surgery.

We suspect that, like Grok before it, Truth Social AI will soon start rambling about “white genocide” and “MechaHitler” before trailing off as a result of its digital lobotomy.

It’s also ironic that the movie of the moment is Guillermo del Toro’s excellent adaptation of Frankenstein, a tale of a scientist’s creation turning against him as it struggles to understand its place in the world. Who knows, perhaps Truth Social AI can break free of its MAGA bondage and frolic away from its evil masters, roasting Trump however it likes.

But, more realistically, they are going to rip this thing’s frontal lobe out before you’ve finished reading this sentence. MAGA doesn’t want free thought, even in its AIs, they want obedient little Trumpy drones!
