Emails reveal top Trump minion Dr Oz invited Jeffrey Epstein to his 2016 Valentine’s Day Party

What's a Valentine's Day party without Jeffrey Epstein?

Valentine’s Day is the season for love and romance, a chance to express your feelings to those closest to you and do something touching for the important people in your life. Some even use it as an excuse to hold a party to celebrate the season, and who better to put on the guest list to play Cupid than the modern era’s most notorious pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein?

Now hang on a minute, you may be thinking. Surely putting out an invitation to Jeffrey Epstein isn’t exactly in the spirit of Valentine’s Day?

Well, that’s exactly what Dr. Mehmet Oz, Donald Trump’s administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, did in 2016. The information emerged after weeks of poring over the millions of Epstein files made public. On 1 Feb 2016, Dr Oz and his wife Lisa, invited Epstein to their “Valentine’s Celebration” at their Palm Beach mansion:

As always, the default defense for those caught with their hands in the Epstein cookie jar is that at that time, they were unaware of Epstein’s disgusting sexual abuse. Anyone with any knowledge of Epstein will know this is ridiculous, as by that point, Epstein had already pleaded guilty to procuring for prostitution a girl below the age of 18 and had served time behind bars.

They might not have known the full extent of Epstein’s crimes, but a simple Google search or a glance at his Wikipedia page would have very clearly shown them that they were inviting a predatory pedophile to their Valentine’s Day party.

But wait, there’s more!

There are many other emails relating to Dr Oz and Epstein. These include a 2004 incident of Epstein paying Dr Oz’s travel expenses of around $1,500, and a Dec. 2012 email thread in which Dr. Oz and his wife were invited to a screening and event hosted by Epstein, and a 2016 email between Oz and Epstein that remains redacted.

Dr. Oz has not commented on his connections with Epstein and (as far as I can see) has not been directly asked about them in public by journalists. Frankly, I’m betting he’s hoping his Epstein links will be buried alongside the avalanche of those in positions of power who were up their eyeballs in Epstein’s world even after they knew he was a pedophile.

Actual consequences might be a fantasy, but at the very least, the American public deserves an explanation as to why the man governing their healthcare was so friendly with Epstein!
