Jeffrey Epstein’s billionaire associate Les Wexner told he’ll be killed by lawyer during deposition if he doesn’t shut up

Did he say more than he was supposed to?

Billionaire Les Wexner was up to his eyeballs in Jeffrey Epstein’s disgusting web of sin. The 88-year-old had been a close associate of the modern era’s most notorious pedophile since the mid-1980s, with Epstein having power of attorney over his finances from 1991 onwards.

Virginia Giuffre said Epstein had personally trafficked her to Wexner, who it’s confirmed, visited Epstein’s private island of Little St James. Naturally, Wexner denies all of this, saying his decades-long intimate relationship with Epstein was strictly professional. And, of course, in a now familiar excuse, he says he had no idea of Epstein’s sex crimes.

Uh-huh. Well, anyway, Wexner has just been deposed by the House Oversight Committee at his Ohio home as part of their ongoing investigation into Epstein’s sex trafficking network. Wexner is sticking to his story, but a hot mic moment indicates his lawyer, Michael Levy, isn’t happy:

The video shows Levy leaning in to whisper something to Wexner which was inadvertently picked up by the mic:

“I will f—king kill you if you answer another question with more than five words, ok?”

You’re talking too much, old man

Wexner smiles and nods as if someone’s told him a very funny joke rather than just threatened to kill him. Hilarious stuff. Now, Wexner’s lawyer may be just kidding around (or he may not be!), but the reminder that his client is talking too much is very serious.

The committee seems entirely unimpressed by Wexner’s testimony, with ranking member Robert Garcia saying “he denied everything” and noting that he provided no new information and showed no remorse. Garcia underlined that Wexner was responsible for funding Epstein’s life, including his private jet and properties, so the idea that he’s clueless is absurd.

Wexner’s lawyers are bullish, arguing he answered every question they asked of him honestly and that he’s cooperated fully with the investigation. Wexner himself is also clearly confident he won’t face consequences. And, sadly, that confidence is well-placed.

Billionaires simply aren’t subject to the same justice system as the rest of us, so you can expect him to live out the rest of his life in comfortable freedom, completely insulated from public anger. What an inspiring story.
