While Americans struggle to afford food the president pedals Trump branded watches – you won’t believe how much they cost

Once again Donald Trump proves that it is all about the money with his watch grift. While the country is in economic turmoil the president has proven he is content to turn a blind eye to the suffering of the average American citizen in favor of hawking tasteless jewellery in the form of a watch which, of course, is going for an exorbitant price.

Trump appeared on Fox News to advertise his new collection of watches which are priced at $499. In the advertisement, Donald gives off the vibe of a sleazy salesman, which I guess deep down is what he really is. He tells viewers “It’s Trump time” while the camera pans over a watch engraved with “Trump 45-47” on the face, oh and did I mention it’s priced at $499?

What a bargain! Said no one. In fact, most people were quick to put the president on blast for his tone-deaf advertisement, especially when so many people across the country are struggling to afford to live everyday. 

“How can american people accept this?” Asked one person on X. Others simply called the president corrupt, and his watches “tacky.”

Despite campaigning on the promise that he would fix the economy and make things like groceries affordable for Americans again, so far, Trump has only made things worse. He’s ignored his previous pledges and in many cases has actively hurt the very people who voted for him in the first place. It’s hard to imagine anyone having the spare funds to afford an overpriced watch which, let’s face it, was probably made dirt cheap anyway.

This is just another one of Trump’s grifts

This is yet another example of the blood-sucking president extracting every little drop of wealth he can from his deluded followers and the sad part is that there are people in MAGA that are so brainwashed they will cough up the money and thank Trump for ripping them off.

This isn’t the first time Donald Trump has tried to take advantage of his political position to make a little extra cash on the side. We’ve seen him try to sell Trump branded bibles, Trump perfumes, the man even tried to make merch from his own assassination attempt. Essentially he’ll sell anything he thinks his insane followers might eat up.

Let’s not forget, he’s a sleazy salesman at heart and this is all a grift to him, he’s well trained in manipulating people and taking advantage of them and these watches are just the latest in a long line of money-making schemes aimed at extracting money from his MAGA followers and putting it directly into his bank account.
