A woman says she discovered her boyfriend of four years was engaged to his 17-year-old niece during a family cruise, according to a series of TikTok videos she posted under the handle @oliviaakayee. The woman, who said she lives in Montana, identified her ex-boyfriend only as Tristan, 27, and said the relationship ended after she says she uncovered messages and testimony connecting him to the teenager.
Olivia said in her TikTok videos that she and Tristan had been together for almost four years, and that warning signs appeared roughly two years into the relationship when the niece, referred to as S, visited the family’s home. According to her account, S was 14 years old at the time and that Tristan made a comment about her while the couple was intimate, which upset Olivia.
Olivia said the situation escalated last summer when she said she found messages on Tristan’s phone to a couple in New York suggesting he wanted to arrange a video involving them. Around the same time, she said her friends found a mugshot showing Tristan had been charged with first-degree sexual abuse at age 21, though she said he told her the charges were dropped and gave her an explanation she said she believed at the time.
Confrontation on the cruise apparently led to accusations of stalking and threats
Olivia and Tristan broke up in February after she allegedly caught him deleting messages with a friend he had listed under a different name, which she said he later admitted was actually a woman’s number saved under a friend’s name. Despite this, she said Tristan convinced her to stay together, and the two later went on a family cruise that Olivia said was meant to “rekindle” their relationship. Trust issues can escalate quickly, as when a Florida woman discovered her boyfriend was a serial predator, leading her to turn him in to the cops.
During the cruise, Olivia said Tristan began receiving repeated phone calls from his sister-in-law, identified as D, and that he refused to answer them. When Olivia questioned him about the calls, she said he began “screaming at me calling me crazy.” She said he also threatened to hit her during the confrontation.
After the cruise, Olivia noticed D and S were viewing her social media posts despite not being connected to her online. She said she reached out to D directly, who told her that S and Tristan were engaged. Olivia said D also sent her screenshots of text messages between Tristan and S, which Olivia described as sexual in nature.
Olivia then called S, who allegedly told her that she and Tristan had been talking since February, the same month Olivia said she caught Tristan deleting messages. Olivia said voice recordings played for her by S appeared to show Tristan telling the teenager she was “the one” for him. Olivia said the timeline of Tristan’s alleged relationship with S overlapped with dates she was still with him, including their trip to Las Vegas and the cruise.
Olivia said she informed Tristan’s extended family through a group chat, but said the family already knew about the relationship between Tristan and S and did not object to it. She also contacted S’s father, who she said was unaware of the relationship and told her he planned to take away his daughter’s phone and driving privileges.
In a later video, Olivia said she was told by S’s father that police said they could not intervene because Montana’s age of consent is 16. She and Tristan both live in Montana, while Tristan’s family is originally from Louisiana and Alabama, and D lives outside Montana. Olivia also said in a follow-up video that Tristan and S are not blood relatives, explaining that S is connected to the family through Tristan’s brother-in-law and has been considered his niece since she was around seven years old.
In a fourth video, Olivia said she is now facing a lawsuit from Tristan and his family, and clarified that the claims in her videos are allegations. She said three of Tristan’s previous partners contacted her after her videos were posted and gave her permission to share their accounts. Allegations of betrayal within intimate relationships are sadly not unique to this case, as a Tampa woman discovered her husband gave her HIV after 15 years.
Olivia said one ex told her Tristan had shown interest in S roughly six years earlier, during that ex’s relationship with him. The same ex told her Tristan had a sexual relationship with his stepsister for about a year, and that the woman who filed the earlier sexual abuse charge against Tristan was 15 years old at the time. Olivia said two other former partners described experiencing physical abuse in their relationships with Tristan.
Olivia stressed she is not seeking sympathy from viewers and that her goal was to share her experience. “So many girls get called stupid for being manipulated by a disgusting man,” she said.
Commenters responded to Olivia’s videos with messages of support. One wrote, “Girl you dodged a bullet.” Another commented, “Tristan needs to be evaluated and sent away.” A third wrote, “Stay strong, save EVERY SCREENSHOT. Surround yourself with friends you can trust. Do anything you need to heal. This is crazy and don’t feel bad if it affects you. Let it out. Rest. Drink water.” Another added, “Let them sue you, cuz then lawyers will go through allllllll of their stuff and you’ll win :)”
Tristan, S, and D have not publicly responded to Olivia’s allegations. Olivia said in her third video that after she posted about the situation on a local social media page, members of Tristan’s family reported the post and had it removed, then blocked her on social media.
