Bride uninvites sister-in-law from wedding, but she shows up to the rehearsal, then all hell breaks loose: ‘she hurt the bride’

The sister-in-law allegedly crashed the rehearsal and refused to leave.

A confrontation at a wedding rehearsal has gone viral on TikTok after the argument allegedly turned physical. The clip, which was recorded by the woman who apparently crashed the rehearsal, showed two women arguing with the person recording and telling her to leave. However, one of the women seen in the video has since come forward with her side of the story.

The clip that went viral on TikTok was posted by “@original_ghettogaragetv,” where it received over 8 million views, although that page doesn’t appear to belong to the person who actually recorded the video. Regardless, the video shows an argument between three women; two of the women, one seen wearing a blue shirt and another wearing a red dress, appear to be angrily berating the woman recording.

The clip doesn’t provide a whole lot of context as to what the argument is about, although it seems that the two women are asking the person recording to leave a wedding ceremony, telling her, “I was told to come out and tell you to go, and I’m just doing what I’m asked to do.” Despite the warnings, the woman doesn’t leave, and at one point records what looks to be other guests.

Commenters on TikTok were hesitant to take sides; instead, they asked for more context: “Just out of curiosity, why won’t you leave?” Asked one person. More clips posted by the same account show more of the argument, as the woman in the blue shirt accuses the woman in the red dress of antagonizing her, while the woman in the red dress warns that she’ll be arrested.

The full story comes out

It didn’t take internet sleuths long to find the actual account belonging to “MackenzieLee_,” the woman who was recording. In one of her videos, she names the woman in the blue shirt as Jen Lee Hicks and claims that Hicks assaulted her.

However, Hicks soon fired back with a response video in which she said Mackenzie was the one who assaulted her, the other woman, and even the bride. “She started assaulting us. She hit the girl in the red dress; she hurt the bride.” Hicks also shared photos which appear to show bruises on her body as well as scratch marks on the bride’s back.

She explained that Mackenzie was the sister-in-law of the bride and that she had apparently been uninvited from the wedding. While she didn’t give details on what had prompted her being banned from the wedding, she did say that Mackenzie’s husband (and the bride’s brother) was still invited.

Despite apparently being banned, Hicks claimed that Mackenzie had showed up to the rehearsal uninvited and unannounced, the day before the wedding was due to take place. The confrontation that ensued was what was posted online. Although the incident happened a while ago, Hicks claimed Mackenzie posted it after the former appeared on a local news outlet talking about ICE activity; she “was mad, apparently, that I got a little bit of attention.”
