The controversy began when a TikToker under the handle @everythingtheresa posted a tearful video screaming about her family’s ruined Mother’s Day dinner. According to Cal’s breakdown, the woman and her family were being walked to their table at Texas Roadhouse. Just as they were getting seating, she casually tossed a peanut shell straight onto the dining room floor.
An attentive staff member then allegedly intervened. They reminded the woman that the restaurant provides small buckets directly on each table for shells and trash. But instead of simply dropping her trash into the container, the woman allegedly launched into a furious tirade in the middle of the host stand.
She claimed that her Mother’s Day was officially ruined, then screamed at the staff, and refused to eat. All because an employee pointed out where the trash bucket was located.

“She’s mad, and screaming, and refusing to eat because she can’t throw peanut shells on the floor,” Cal claimed. “When I first saw this video, I thought someone like, spit in her food. I thought someone like, shoved her down the stairs.” She even reiterated her frustration in the caption, writing “Over PEANUTS?” to express her disbelief.
