If you’ve been craving some arcade-style helicopter action that delivers a thrilling experience then look no further than Thunder Wolves, which is available now for PSN, XBLA, and Steam.

Coming to us from Hungarian developer Most Wanted Entertainment, Thunder Wolves is a game that was inspired by ‘90s arcade games and action flicks with paper-thin plots, endless supplies of disposable henchman, and explosions as far as the eye can see. Thunder Wolves knows exactly what it is and is hoping to deliver a pure adrenaline fueled ride filled with missiles and gunfire.

Players who decide to challenge their piloting skills will be able to experience nine individual helicopters with their own strengths and weaknesses that pilot with flight mechanics inspired by arcade-style action. A range of operations from seek-and-destroy to stealth will challenge your abilities across 13 missions. If that’s not enough, you can even play with a friend in local co-op where one player pilots as the other acts as the gunner.

Check out the awesome description of the game from the press release below.

“Thunder Wolves isn’t out to alter the meaning of your life or cause intelligent discourse regarding paradigms of panglobal post-modernity and interactive agency. Nope. It has helicopters and explosions. Nuff said.”
