Xbox One Users Can Play Max: The Curse Of Brotherhood Starting Tomorrow

After previously delaying Max: The Curse of Brotherhood into 2014, Microsoft Game Studios has seemingly had a change of heart, and has decided to release the game this year. That is, on Xbox One. The Xbox 360 version, which was previously confirmed, still doesn't have a release date.

After previously delaying Max: The Curse of Brotherhood into 2014, Microsoft Game Studios has seemingly had a change of heart, and has decided to release the game this year. That is, on Xbox One. The Xbox 360 version, which was previously confirmed, still doesn’t have a release date.

Releasing tomorrow, December 20, at a price point of $14.99, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood promises to bring a colourful blend of platforming and magic marker-based combat and puzzle gameplay to Microsoft’s new device. Those who enlist will utilize those mechanics in an attempt to rescue Max’s younger brother from the clutches of evil, which should prove for an interesting experience so long as it works as well as it looks.

When Max: The Curse of Brotherhood was shown at E3, it piqued my interest. I’d never played its predecessor, Max and the Magic Marker, but something about the title’s gameplay, charm and art style combination pulled at my inner gamer’s heart strings. As such, I’m looking forward to going hands on with the adventure this weekend.
