Things are going to take an interesting turn in the March 14th episode of Supergirl when Kara Danvers falls under the influence of Red Kryptonite. That’s going to cause the hero to undergo something of a personality change, and it might just spell doom for the citizens of National City.

As well as the official description for the upcoming instalment, we also have the first images from the episode. As you can see, one depicts Supergirl’s new attitude and the other features Cat Grant on a talk show.

For the full scoop, here’s the official description for “Falling”:

Kara turns on her friends and the citizens of National City after being exposed to Red Kryptonite makes her malicious and dangerous. Also, Cat appears on THE TALK to discuss Supergirl, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, March 14 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The hosts of CBS Daytime’s “The Talk” guest star. “Falling” was written by Robert Rovner & Jessica Queller and directed by Larry Teng.

This sounds like a good outing for the show, especially as we haven’t seen anything other than Green Kryptonite in live-action since the days of Smallville. How Supergirl‘s take on the alien substance will differ to past iterations remains to be seen, but we’ll hopefully get a look at some footage from this episode in the next week or two.
