Iron Fist Rumored To Make His Debut On Luke Cage

Last week, it was finally announced that Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones would be starring as Danny Rand, AKA Iron Fist, in the upcoming Marvel/Netflix show. We know that the character will headline his own solo series before joining his fellow street-level heroes in The Defenders, but is there a chance we'll meet him before that?

Last week, it was finally announced that Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones would be starring as Danny Rand, AKA Iron Fist, in the upcoming Marvel/Netflix show. During the latest episode of Collider Heroes (around the 19:50 mark in the video above), Heroic Hollywood’s Umberto Gonzalez claims that Jones will make his small screen debut as Rand on Marvel and Netflix’s next solo series, Luke Cage.

Yes he is [in Luke Cage]. Episode 13. That’s why it was announced, or else it would have leaked … They shot him last week.

Obviously that remains to be seen, but it does make sense. After all, Jessica Jones introduced the Luke Cage character to ensure he was established before making the leap into his own show, so it follows that Cage would do the same for his Heroes For Hire buddy.

No première date for Iron Fist has been set yet, but production is expected to kick off over the next few months.
