Joe Mason Takes On The Chainsmokers With “Inside Out” Remix

The Chainsmokers have pulled off one of the best career turnarounds in recent years, abandoning their festival banger styled tracks like "#SELFIE" in favor of the more pop friendly direction taken with tracks like "Roses" and "Don't Let Me Down." Now, up and coming producer Joe Mason is taking on the popular EDM duo with a remix of their track "Inside Out."

The Chainsmokers have pulled off one of the best career turnarounds in recent years, abandoning their festival banger styled tracks like “#SELFIE” in favor of the more pop friendly direction taken with songs like “Roses” and “Don’t Let Me Down.” Now, up and coming producer Joe Mason is taking on the popular EDM duo with a remix of their track “Inside Out.”

The seventeen year old producer tackles the song with the dance crowd in mind, picking up the pace a bit and taking things into future bass territory with rhythmic synth chords and crashing beats. The vocal driven elements are preserved in his remix, and Charlee’s accessible singing is featured heavily throughout. While Mason’s take on “Inside Out” isn’t a radical re-imagining, he brings a chilled out sensibility to the table that works with the source material.

Joe Mason was generous enough to offer up his remix as a free download, so make sure to grab that here if you like what you hear in the player above.
