With “Cat Thruster,” deadmau5 gives us over six minutes of music in the trademark electro style that brought him to prominence, opening the tune with ear catching analog synth melodies before a driving house beat kicks in. After an extended intro, his latest track moves into bass heavy drops with distorted synths and mind bending blips, satisfying our appetite for that classic mau5 sound.

Deadmau5 has been gearing up for the release of his next album and the music we’ve heard out of him lately indicates it will be one of his strongest yet. With a fun loving production and plenty of dancefloor groove, “Cat Thruster” is certainly a prime candidate to feature on the upcoming record.
