Yes, that’s right, the network stormed into Hall H today with a glorious preview for season 8 in hand, and we’ve got it for you up above to feast on – and watch over and over again as you eagerly await the October premiere.

It’s surely just the first of many promos to come, but if what we see here is any indication of what AMC plans to deliver this Fall, then we’re certainly in for an explosive season, one that promises all-out war between Rick and Negan and what looks to be much more kinetic and action-packed episodes than what we’ve been seeing from the show lately.

Admittedly, it takes a while for things to get going in the trailer, but then again, it’s over 5 minutes long. Once the pace picks up, though, it’s an absolute rush, as we see our merry band of heroes taking the fight to Negan, resulting in some great action and tons of fan-pleasing moments. Not to mention there’s also a very intriguing scene right at the end featuring Rick that’s sure to have everyone talking.

The eighth season of The Walking Dead will premiere in the fall, and it’ll arrive a little later than expected. That’s because Fear The Walking Dead‘s third season, one which returns from hiatus on September 10th, is expected to stretch all the way through until October 22nd. At that point, however, AMC’s hit series will return and we couldn’t be more excited to see it back on our screens.
