Naturally for a film that’s being touted as one of the funniest MCU entries yet, the fresh material is stuffed with jokes. In particular, there are some great bits between Thor, Hulk and Loki. Honestly, there’s a million to fun chance you’ll love it.

Fans of the Asgardian Avenger might also note Thor’s actions at about the 0:20 mark, where he jumps into an awesome spinning attack while doing battle with Cate Blanchett’s Hela. What with the oft-used image of Chris Hemsworth’s eyes glowing electric blue, it looks like Thor: Ragnarok is going to double down on the hero’s status as the powerful God of Thunder much more than in previous movies.

While the first two Thor films have received relatively tepid critical responses, early reactions to Thor: Ragnarok have been overwhelmingly positive. Those lucky enough to have seen the threequel already are describing it as “an absolute blast,” “laugh out loud funny” and promising that audiences will be “blown away” by it. By the looks of things, then, Ragnarok will make it three hits out of three for Marvel Studios this year, after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming were also well received.

We’ll be able to judge for ourselves when Thor: Ragnarok hits cinemas on November 3rd – or the earlier date of October 27th, if you happen to be in the UK.
