Former Walking Dead Actor Seemingly Teases His Involvement In AMC’s Planned Crossover

Michael Cudlitz's Abraham Ford may be resurrected for AMC's planned Walking Dead crossover, if the actor's recent Tweets are to be believed.

Is Michael Cudlitz’s Abraham Ford about to receive a new lease of life via AMC’s planned Walking Dead crossover?

Following the long-requested announcement that The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead will cross paths further down the line, Cudlitz posted two very cryptic, and potentially huge Tweets to fuel the speculation. First spotted by the folks at Cinema Blend, you’ll be able to find each Tweet down below, though fair warning: they’re about as vague as they come. With that in mind, chalk this up as unfounded speculation for now, particularly when you consider that Abraham originally bit the bullet in season 7’s unforgettable opener, “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be.” At the hands of Negan, no less.

There are certain logistics to consider, of course; Fear The Walking Dead solely takes place on the Pacific Coast, and without any planes or long-distance travel options available, it’s hard to imagine how the likes of Madison Clark and her crew could make the trip across the country in order to meet with their fellow survivors. Or vice versa, for that matter.

But if there’s one character who would make a fine candidate for that aforementioned crossover, it’s Abraham Ford. First dragged into AMC’s zombie apocalypse in season 4, the foul-mouthed survivor quickly became a favorite amongst The Walking Dead‘s impassioned community, who later mourned his death at the hands (or should that be bat?) of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan.

Besides, Abraham, just like every other character in TWD, had a history before encountering Glenn and Tara on the road to D.C., so there’s every chance he had a dalliance on the Pacific Coast, possibly even fighting off Walkers alongside Maidson Clark and Co.

It’s a long shot, but Cudiltz’s Tweets certainly add fuel to the flames:

The Walking Dead returns for its eighth season on October 22nd, and it seems as though everyone involved behind the scenes have upped their game in preparation for episode number 100.
