Season 8, episode 6 was titled “Big Scary U” and finally reintroduced Negan, after we last saw him and Father Gabriel trapped in a shed surrounded by a horde of walkers back in the season premiere. Meanwhile, with the big bad currently out of action, the Saviours had to learn to function without their leader around to guide them and Gregory’s treachery was further explored as we got to see his underhanded alliance with Simon.

All in all, this was another great hour of television for the show, and the plot of season 8 is continuing to move along nicely, leaving us excited to see where things go from here. Speaking of which, we now have the first promo and sneak peek for next week’s installment, titled “The King, the Widow, and Rick,” which you can check out above and below.

On top of that, the official synopsis for the episode was released a few weeks ago as well and gives us further clues as to what it might deliver.

With things looking up for Rick and the group, an argument breaks out at the Hilltop; the consequences of the decision are life versus death.

Going by the title, it seems like this one will focus on the leaders of the Alexandria, Kingdom and Hilltop communities. Namely, Ezekiel (the King), Maggie (the Widow) and Rick (er, Rick). The synopsis suggests that these three will get involved in a tense debate as they make a life or death decision. No doubt this has to do with the fate of the Hilltop mole, who’s been leaking the alliance’s plans to the Saviors. But will they make the right decision?

Be sure to tune in when The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Sunday, November 26th to find out!
