New Arrow Promo Circulates Ahead Of Midseason Premiere

Now that 2018 is officially underway and we have the holidays behind us, it's about time that we get back to the TV shows that we love. To be more specific, folks like me can't wait to resume the current season of what the Arrowverse has to offer and, to help get us back into the swing of things, the Crisis on Earth-X crossover is set to re-air next week.

But once we’ve had a chance to take in all that awesomeness yet again, we’re understandably going to crave some new content. Fortunately, that’ll arrive the following week in a slew of midseason premieres, culminating with the returning episode of Arrow.

To celebrate this, the network has begun circulating a new promo on social media. In it, we’re reacquainted with the idea that Cayden James is putting together quite the formidable cabal, which also includes the likes of Black Siren, Ricardo Diaz and Vigilante, to name but a few. So, while you wrap your head around that, try to mull over a few new frames of footage.

To the delight of said villains, Team Arrow has found itself fractured, with Oliver Queen, John Diggle and Felicity Smoak going about their own way. As for Wild Dog, Black Canary and Mr. Terrific, it looks like they can’t leave the vigilante life behind and will continue the path they’ve started, Green Arrow or not.

For more info regarding “Divided,” be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

OLIVER DISCOVERS A SHOCKING TRUTH ABOUT CAYDEN JAMES — Despite losing half his team, Oliver (Stephen Amell) remains confident that he, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (David Ramsey) can stop Cayden James (guest star Michael Emerson) and Black Siren (Katie Cassidy).

However, when he discovers one of Cayden’s secrets, he decides to team up with an unlikely ally. Meanwhile, Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) spends time with Vince (guest star Johann Urb). James Bamford directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Emilio Ortega Aldrich (#610).

Arrow returns with new episodes on Thursday, January 18 on The CW.
