Marvel Producer Says Next Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Is On The Way

It's been a busy, busy week in the Marvel camp, what with Entertainment Weekly blowing the lid off Joe and Anthony Russo's Avengers: Infinity War to reveal new photos, new suits, and a very familiar Mad Titan, whose "horrific" masterplan will seemingly bring Earth (and perhaps the entire universe!) to its knees.

Without divulging too much, too soon, it’s a tactic that involves all six Infinity Stones and Thanos’ fabled home planet, Titan, which appears to be the Martian-like world glimpsed in that awesome first teaser trailer. Speaking of which, amid all the hype and infectious excitement generated by Entertainment Weekly’s ongoing coverage one question remains: when can we expect that next preview to drop?

full-blown cover story from EW, coupled with all of the many star-studded photos of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in action, leads us to believe that a trailer reveal is imminent, and sure enough, Marvel producer Louis D’Esposito has now confirmed as much. Taking to Twitter, he asked fans to be patient while assuring us that it’s on the way.

“Be patient,” D’Esposito Tweeted. “It’s coming. Please don’t throw a moon at us #AvengersInfinityWar”

Given that we know the second trailer has already been shown to investors, not to mention that we’re less than 50 days away from release, we imagine we’ll be getting our hands on it pretty soon. When exactly we can expect to see it is the big question, but after EW’s massive blowout, speculation points to it being any day now. A release this weekend seems unlikely, but perhaps early next week? Time will tell.

We’ll be sure to keep you posted should anymore news on the trailer surface, but if one thing’s for certain, it’s that at 156 minutes long and important enough to redraw the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it, many consider Avengers: Infinity War to be the most-anticipated movie of 2018. And we’ll finally get to see what all the fuss is about on April 27th.
