That was the tongue-in-cheek message from Ryan Reynolds on Wednesday morning, after the Deadpool 2 star posted an NSFW Twitter rant about spoilers. But just as Wade Wilson’s second screen adventure is supposedly a family film masquerading as a superhero movie, that Twitter post in question was a cheeky swipe at Avengers: Infinity War and its own no spoilers plea.

Drafted up by Joe and Anthony Russo, the candid open letter touched on everything from Marvel’s 10-year legacy to the impassioned fanbase that has helped propel the MCU to record new heights – think a $16 billion lifetime gross. Leave it to Ryan Reynolds, then, to take a shot at the Russo Brothers, though it wasn’t long before the filmmaking duo rallied with a comeback of their own. As for Reynolds? He’s now held his hands up to admit defeat.

Over on Twitter, the Deadpool star essentially waved the white flag to say that he fully deserved the middle finger from Joe and Anthony Russo – or, rather, the Infinity Gauntlet that the Mad Titan holds so dear. And to quote the Merc himself, pump the hate brakes, Thanos!

So, there you have it; when he’s not trading mad bantz with Josh Brolin’s Cable or David frickin’ Beckham, Deadpool is actually hammering away at his keyboard to produce an impassioned love letter (?) to the “greatest fans in the whole universe.”

We have embarked on the ‘Deadpool 2: This is King of Your Guys’ Fault’ World Tour. Almost everyone involved in the film has given Maximum Effort the past two years, maintaining the highest level of super secrets, like how David Blaine catches bullets in his mouth. And the secret blend of 11 herbs and spices in Colonel Sanders’ delicious mustache.

Only a handful of people know the film’s true plot. One of them is not Ryan Reynolds. We’re asking that when you see Deadpool 2, you don’t say a f***ing word about the fun shit in the movie. Cause it’d be super lame to spoil the fact that Deadpool dies in this one. Kidding. Not kidding. Kidding?

Godspeed.

Deadpool 2 shoots for theaters on May 18th, and when it does, moviegoers will be treated to an extra special cameo from none other than [REDACTED].
