First Look At Superman And Lois Lane In Arrowverse Crossover Debuts

The CW has debuted our very first look at Superman and Lois Lane in the Arrowverse crossover today, and they both look fantastic!

Right now, the next major Arrowverse crossover, “Elseworlds,” has so much going for it that it’s honestly becoming a bit difficult to keep track of all the details that we’ve been fed so far.

Of course, the big draw will be Ruby Rose’s debut as Batwoman, not to mention Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell trading places as the Flash and Green Arrow. But it’s important we don’t forget that Tyler Hoechlin will be making his long awaited return as Superman, too.

In fact, there’s been more talk surrounding the Last Son of Krypton than usual, which is probably because he’ll be suiting up in the black costume which somehow eluded the DC Extended Universe. However, the classic red and blue will also be on display as well, which has once again been confirmed by the very first official photo of Supes and Lois Lane in the crossover.

Seen in the gallery below, it shows the super-couple striking a pose that’s definitely got a bit of a Richard Donner vibe to it. They both look great, and while explaining where the pair are in terms of their courtship, Hoechlin told TV Insider the following:

“The obviously have a very strong relationship that’s been going like that for a while. It’s deeper into the relationship, so there’s that comfortability factor and they know each other so well. They really kind of have a life together.”

From set photos that surfaced a while back, we also know that the crossover will return to a familiar Smallville location and it seems we’ll get to see Clark and Lois at home on the Kent farm in the small Kansas town. How that’ll factor into things remains unclear, but with some official promotional material finally starting to trickle out, we imagine we’ll be learning a lot more about the couple’s role very soon.

The Arrowverse crossover will run across The Flash, Arrow and SupergirlLegends of Tomorrow is sitting this one out – and it all gets underway in one month from now, on December 9th.
