The Gang’s All Here In New Stranger Things Season 3 Promo Art

Artwork uncovered by Instagram account 'nycityguys' has revealed a sneak peek of Stranger Things season 3. And it seems the gang's all here.

It’s been an awful long time since we paid a visit to the charming little town of Hawkins, Indiana – too long, perhaps.

But this summer, that all changes with the release of Stranger Things season 3. And while Netflix is yet to divulge any firm details on what to expect (barring that primetime July launch date), over on Instagram, some early artwork for the show’s third installment has appeared online.

Embedded below, it reunites Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven with her teenage companions, including Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Noah Schnapp (Will) and Sadie Sink (Max). You’ll notice that Dustin is still sporting his headset from Stranger Things season 2, so either this is old artwork that’s simply emerged from the shadows once more, or the gang is teaming up for a brand new mission – a mission that we suspect involves the Upside Dow in some shape or form.

It’s the warped underworld teeming with Demogorgons and Demo-dogs, while Hawkins will soon have to contend with the seemingly omnipresent Shadow Monster in season 3 which was averted (but crucially not killed) during the finale of season 2.

Exactly what that means for Eleven and Co. remains to be seen, but by all accounts, it looks certain that this year’s installment will be bigger and scarier than its predecessors. Which is exactly what they said about Stranger Things season 2 not so long ago… but we digress.

Steeped in the usual blend of nostalgia-powered science fiction, season 3 of Netflix’s Stranger Things is due to premiere on July 4th – just in time for Independence Day in the United States. Our advice? Keep your schedule free and your cupboards stacked, it’s (almost) binging time!
