Thankfully, for those who play the game casually and are planning to skip out on tomorrow’s paid expansion, there’s some good news for you. The US-based developer has announced that there will be rewards for all Apex Legends players. So, if you’re on the fence and planning on not picking up the new Season 1 content, there’ll be some nifty bonuses thrown in there to keep you happy as well.

According to the EA website, the following goodies will be free and up for grabs for all players:

  • 1 Wild Frontier Legend skin
  • 5 Apex Packs
  • 18 Wild Frontier stat trackers

Much like other battle royale paid passes, Apex Legends‘ Wild Frontier Battle Pass will feature over 100 items for folks to obtain throughout the first season. These include new skins, coins, intros, banners and much more. If you’re interested in purchasing Season 1’s content, then you may want to find out how to get it half price here.

The uber popular free-to-play sensation seems to be going from strength to strength at the moment. Not only has the Titanfall battle royale offshoot recently dethroned Fortnite as the most-watched Twitch game, but the developer has also been listening closely to fan feedback and has been updating their title accordingly. Whether Apex Legends can keep its terrific momentum going, well, only time will tell. But if you’re a fan of the battle royale genre, then now’s as good a time as any to check out one of the most successful free-to-play games in a long, long while.
