House Of Cards Writers Scrambling To Fix Season 6
House of Cards is in trouble right now. After announcing that its sixth season would also be its last, Netflix then decided to not only fire Kevin Spacey in light of those troubling allegations that have hounded the actor for weeks now, but they also halted production. Since then, the streaming giant has been rather tight-lipped about how they'll proceed from here, but according to CNN, the intention is to still give fans one final season.

Avengers: Infinity War Star Promises A Badass, Amazing First Trailer
Ah, the Avengers: Infinity War trailer. At this point, it's almost the stuff of legend, with seemingly each new week bringing with it a proposed date for when we may see it, only to have that date come and go with nothing popping up. Kevin Feige did promise that it'd be here before the end of 2017, but that's quickly approaching and still, Marvel hasn't given us any indication of when it may debut.

It seemed like the time would never come, but the granddaddy of all Marvel events is happening next year. Yes, Earth's Mightiest Heroes will finally take on the Mad Titan, Thanos, in Avengers: Infinity War. In what's shaping up to be Marvel's most expensive production to date and one that features over 60 characters, this film looks set to be every comic book fan's dream come to life. Heck, it might even end up being every movie fan's dream in the flesh.

Justice League Star Wants Jared Leto’s Joker In The Sequel
DC fans had their minds blown when it was announced back in the summer that an origins movie for the Joker was in the works. Sitting outside the DC Extended Universe, the film is set to feature a new actor as the Clown Prince of Crime in place of Jared Leto. Black Widow is a name with a notable legacy within Marvel comic book lore. Many women have carried that moniker, including Claire Voyant - one of the earliest costumed, super-powered women to appear in comics. While cinema audiences today associate the name with a cat-suited Scarlett Johansson, Black Widow has also been the name of not only a mystical being possessed by Satan, but also a Director of S.H.I.E.L.D who was the ex-wife of Nick Fury. Kevin Feige Teases Emotional Scenes In Avengers: Infinity War
Even though the Marvel Cinematic Universe is certainly nothing new at this point, we still have much to look forward to over the next couple of years. Not only will we be treated to the studio’s first film to be headlined by a woman in the form of Captain Marvel, but we also have Avengers: Infinity War and its untitled sequel on the horizon, which’ll serve as a finale of sorts to the sprawling story that began with the first Iron Man flick all the way back in 2008.

Thor: Ragnarok Smashes Through $500 Million Worldwide
Buoyed by stellar reviews, not to mention that overly impressive debut overseas, Thor: Ragnarok is now well on its way to box office stardom. Initial forecasts claimed Taika Waititi's threequel would open to $100 million on home turf - a domestic haul that would place Ragnarok just behind Justice League, for the record - but one way or another, we're now learning that the threequel's grand total has already soared past $500 million, with the pic currently sitting at $527 million.
