Jesse Plemons May Lead Star Wars: Episode VII
Though some already knew of him from Friday Night Lights, it wasn't until his role as Todd on Breaking Bad (and that scene where he killed the young boy) that people started taking notice of up and coming actor Jesse Plemons. With those two shows now safely under his belt, it looks like he's ready to give his career a bit of a boost on the silver screen, as the actor is being eyed to lead Star Wars: Episode VII.

Boyd Holbrook And Jai Courtney, Among Others, Testing For Kyle Reese In Terminator: Genesis
Casting for Terminator: Genesis was really starting to heat up towards the end of last year but once Sarah and John Connor had been cast, things kind of died down for a bit. Now, it appears that Paramount is on the hunt again and this time they are looking to place an actor in the role of Kyle Reese. Apparently, there are several actors testing for the part and they are as follows: Tom Cocquerel, Wilson Bethel, Sam Reid, Jai Courtney and Boyd Holbrook.

Richard Gere And David Strathairn Join The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel 2
Back in 2012 Fox Searchlight released The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, a charming and delightful little film that was very well received. In fact, praise for the film was so strong that the company decided to do something that they've never done before: make a sequel. That's right, production is about to get underway on The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel 2 with several of the original cast members set to return (Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy and Dev Patel). Furthermore, today, Fox Searchlight has announced that two more well-respected talents have joined the film in the forms of Richard Gere and David Strathairn.

Michael B. Jordan May Star In Richard Pryor Biopic, Lee Daniels Will Direct
The Richard Pryor biopic has been in production for a very long time, but The Weinstein Company looks to get things moving again as they are now in talks with Lee Daniels to direct. As for their leading man, Harvey and Bob currently have their eye on Michael B. Jordan, with Eddie Murphy and Damon Wayans also said to be in the running. So with a director in place and the hunt for an actor currently underway, we might actually be seeing this project come to fruition in the next year or two.

Batman vs. Superman Is Actually Justice League, According To Warner Bros. Producer
Now here's some interesting news for you on this fine Thursday night. According to Warner Bros. producer Daniel Alter, Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman vs. Superman is actually going to be the planned Justice League movie. Now, just because Alter is a producer at the very studio this project is housed at doesn't mean he's correct, but seeing as he told us that Gal Gadot would be Wonder Woman before she was officially cast, he's definitely worth listening to.

John Goodman Joins Mark Wahlberg In The Gambler
Rupert Wyatt is putting together an impressive cast for his upcoming film The Gambler. So far, he has Mark Wahlberg and Brie Larson in the lead roles with Michael K. Williams and Jessica Lange supporting. Now, according to The Wrap, Wyatt and Paramount have brought in John Goodman to round out the line-up.

New Images Of X-Men: Days Of Future Past Give Us Our First Look At Quicksilver
A lot of people are excited for X-Men: Days of Future Past, and rightfully so. Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class was an excellent entry not just into the series, but into the genre as a whole. Though the odds were stacked against it, it turned out to be a thrilling adventure for everyone's favorite mutants and now has us all eagerly anticipating Bryan Singer's follow-up.
