Warner Bros. May Pull The Plug On David Yates’ Tarzan
David Yates may have done wonders for Warner Bros. with the Harry Potter franchise, but it seems that his excellent work at Hogwarts wasn't enough to get his Tarzan reboot off the ground. Though it's been in development for quite a few months now, and was set to star Alexander Skarsgard and Jessica Chastain, the film has hit a halt and now, it may be scrapped altogether.

Bates Motel Renewed For A Second Season
A&E has decided to give their new hit show, Bates Motel, a ten-episode second season. Acting as a prequel to Psycho, just with a contemporary setting, the premiere drew in an impressive 4.5 million viewers and reviews so far have been quite positive. The show just aired its fourth episode this week but already viewers are hooked on the intriguing misadventures of the troubled Bates family.

Avatar 2 Will Use Performance Capture Technology Underwater
So, we already know that James Cameron's Avatar 2 will take place underwater. While that sounds like a great setting and one that we're excited about, it poses a big problem. Cameron needs the motion captured characters to be able to interact in that type of environment. So far, the technology behind motion capture hasn't been able to do this, but for the director's upcoming sequel, he plans to change that.
