Michael Pena Joins Gangster Squad
MTV is telling us that Michael Peña has joined Gangster Squad, the upcoming film from Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer. He'll join an already fantastic cast that includes Sean Penn, Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling. Pena's role is currently unknown but it will likely be substantial. The film follows "Gosling and Brolin as cops who hunt down Penn, playing Los Angeles mob kingpin Mickey Cohen." Sounds pretty fantastic if you ask me. Makes me curious as to which side Pena will be on though, mobster or cop? What do you think?

Watch Inversion’s Trippy E3 Trailer
Inversion, the new game from Namco coming out February 7th, now has a new trailer for us coming straight from E3. The gimmick here is gravity manipulation and the game looks like Dark Void mixed with a bit of Gears of War. It looks pretty fun actually and although not much is known about it right now, I'm hoping we hear more from E3.

Full Details And Video On The Wii U, Nintendo’s New Console
Well here it is folks. After all the speculation, Project Cafe rumors and secretive whisperings about Nintendo's new console, the company has finally gone public and announced the Wii U this morning at their E3 press conference. Along with the official reveal, we also got a look at the completely awesome GamePad controller it will come with, and some of the launch titles.

Harvey Weinstein Isn’t Ruling Out Rounders 2
Rounders 2 is a film that has been discussed for ages now. The original film, Rounders, was a fantastic movie but coming out in 1998, it was ahead of its time. Poker was nowhere near as big as it is now and the film didn't do too well. Luckily for Miramax, the film picked up once it hit video and brought in some much needed additional revenue ($70 million to be exact).

Official PlayStation Vita Trailer From E3
The thing from E3 that has me most excited so far is the PS Vita. Although it wasn't exactly a new reveal, we did get a much better look at it and the device is looking pretty good. The official trailer was released last night and it does an admirable job of highlighting all the major features of the device as well as some of the titles that Sony is planning to release for it.

Hitman: Absolution E3 Trailer
After the reveal of Hitman: Absolution a few weeks ago, we now get a new trailer coming to us from E3. It's pure CG but it does look pretty badass. We see Agent 47 doing what he does best, which is killing people of course. In addition to the trailer, we also get five new screens which you can see below.

Gotham City Impostors E3 Trailer Is Nuts
A few weeks ago, a mysterious little title was announced. It was called Gotham City Impostors and it had many people confused. Was this a new Batman game? Did it have anything to do with the Caped Crusader? Where did this game come from? Well, it turns out that Gotham City Impostors will be a downloadable Batman themed FPS.

Watch Every E3 Press Conference In Full
Miss anything yesterday? Well thanks to G4TV, you can watch all the E3 press conferences from yesterday in full. That includes Microsoft, Sony, Ubisoft and EA. To be honest, I haven't been too impressed with this year's E3 yet. It could be because there were no REAL surprises, or it could be because nothing really that huge has been announced. I mean, the PS Vita is looking very cool but aside from that, nothing has me too interested.

BioShock Infinite Gets Move Functionality And An E3 Trailer
One of the big titles at E3 this year is BioShock Infinite. The next game in the always well received BioShock series is getting set to release and Irrational Games is busy showing it off at the world's largest gaming convention. It was revealed today that the game will use the Move controls on the PS3 and it will come with a free copy of the first BioShock. Pretty nice bonus eh?

Sony Moving Forward On Salt Sequel
I'm still not exactly sure why this is happening but the sequel to Salt, the spy thriller starring Angelina Jolie, is getting underway. Deadline reports that Sony is moving ahead with it and Kurt Wimmer (writer of the original) has begun writing the sequel. Jolie is set to reprise her role as Evelyn Salt but the director's chair is apparently still open. Director Phillip Noyce will not be returning for this outing. Like I said above, I really don't know why this is happening. The first movie was awful. Just a complete hodgepodge of poor writing, unrealistic action and trite dialogue
