Charles Ferguson To Direct HBO’s Julian Assange Film
One of the hottest topics in Hollywood right now is Mr. Julian Assange. Assange is the man behind Wikileaks and for a while, he was in every newspaper and magazine across the country. It's no surprise that Hollywood would hop on the Assange train and currently, there are two films in production about the man who made government leaders sweat and shake in their shoes. The first film is coming to us from HBO and it was announced today that Charles Ferguson will direct. Ferguson was behind the Oscar winning documentary Inside Job, which was a fantastic film. The film will be based on Raffi Khatchadourian‘s June 7, 2010 article in The New Yorker called No Secrets: Julian Assange’s Mission for Total Transparency.

Chuck Lorre Planning Two And A Half Men Reboot Without Charlie Sheen
According to Yahoo, Chuck Lorre is hard at work on an idea to reboot Two and a Half Men without Charlie Sheen. Apparently he's sharing the plan with close associates and the other star of the show, Jon Cryer. Cryer is said to have a significant amount of screen time in the reboot and there will be a new character introduced. Lorre is apparently strongly opposed to having Sheen return but the actor is said to still be working on somehow finding his way back onto the show. He's trying to set up meeting with various members of the show but Warner Bros. is standing behind Lorre and neither of them want him back.

Is Guy Pearce In Prometheus?
Is Ridley Scott hiding some of his cast members from us? Is Guy Pearce in Prometheus? He just may be. Latino Review is reporting that the actor may be in the film although there has been no official announcement. An anonymous email was sent to Chud that claims Pearce is on the set of the film. Here's what it said, with omissions for obvious reasons.

Human Planet Blu-Ray Review
Human Planet is the latest in what seems to be an increasing trend in the documentary world. It's an eight part series that looks at nature, humanity and how the two interact. Ever since the success of BBC's Planet Earth we've seen a number of these types of documentaries spring up. Some better than others. The newest one is Human Planet, which opts to take a more human look at our planet, rather than animals. It takes a fascinating look at different cultures around the world and the ways that they live. It looks absolutely jaw dropping (as to be expected) and it's often inspiring and completely engaging. Over eight episodes we are treated to 80 stories that are uplifting and will open your eyes like never before.

Brand New Transformers: Dark Of The Moon Trailer
Today Paramount brings us a brand new trailer for the upcoming summer blockbuster, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. Shia LaBeouf stars alongside Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, John Malkovich, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Patrick Dempsey and more. Bay failed to impress fans with the last film, Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, but it seems that he has acknowledged his mistakes and is promising to turn things around for the third and final outing. We've seen a couple teaser trailers and Super Bowl spots already but now we're getting a good look at the story and characters.

X-Men: First Class International Trailer Is Better Than The Domestic
So you thought that the X-Men: First Class trailer we saw the other day was good? You ain't seen nothing yet. Don't believe me? Just take a look at the international trailer below. It uses a bit of recycled footage but for the most part there's a lot of new stuff here and boy is it exciting. The film is shaping up to be one of summer's top blockbusters and despite everyone doubting director Matthew Vaughn, I think he's going to prove them all wrong. Sure the production may have been rushed but it doesn't look like it effected the film. It seriously looks fantastic and it will no doubt make a killing at the box office. Will it be the summer's top superhero film? Well, that remains to be seen, but it does stand a chance.

Jeremy Renner Working On A Steve McQueen Biopic
Is there anything that Jeremy Renner can't do? The guy is taking Hollywood by storm, snagging The Bourne Legacy role, co-starring in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, joining the next Ice Age and playing Hawkeye in The Avengers are just some of the many tasks on Renner's to do list.

Binary Domain Receives First Gameplay Trailer
SEGA's Binary Domain received its first gameplay trailer today. The squad based shooter from Yakuza creator Toshihiro Nagoshi is set for an early 2012 release. Binary Domain will take a sci-fi setting and take place in the year 2080, in Tokyo. In the game "players must motivate and build trust with their team, adapt under pressure and make real time decisions knowing there will always be consequences that affect the squad and future missions. Humans must regain control of 2080 Tokyo and give the machines an unexpected ending."

Wait, What? Mark Wahlberg And Justin Bieber Working On New Film
I guess my first question would be why. But then again, nothing really surprises me these days in regards to the on-goings of Hollywood. Vulture is reporting that Mark Wahlberg is working with Justin Bieber on a basketball film with Ian Edelman, creator of HBO’s How To Make It In America, writing the script. Vulture caught up with Wahlberg at the Time 100 Gala and they asked him about the film. He told them the following: "Well, we’re putting it together. Yeah. We’re doing it at Paramount. We pitched them the idea and, you know, we’re talking about doing it. He loves the idea. He's been sending me video, he sent me a video of himself, and, yeah, I think he’s really talented."
