The final trailer for Pixar's prequel, Monsters University, has made its way online and aims to give us an even better look at how our two favorite monsters, James P. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski met. Considering the first film, Monsters, Inc., hit theatres 12 years ago, it's about time we get the follow-up. The critical reception was excellent, as was the box office haul so quite frankly, it's surprising that we haven't seen this one sooner.
During the 2013 MTV Movie Awards tonight, the first trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiered. Given that this is the first footage from the film, it doesn't reveal a whole lot but still, it's nice to finally get some kind of insight into the much anticipated sequel.
Remember Anonymous? The hacker group most well known for taking down Sony's Playstation Network, among other highly publicized stunts? Well, they're at it again and this time, after hacking into the servers of production company Constantin Film, they've discovered a document that points towards Emma Watson being cast in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey adaptation.
If you've seen the 2005 hit comedy Wedding Crashers, you'll know that Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn make a pretty good match. The two work extremely well together and given the fact that their last effort was a very, very humorous one, we're thrilled to see them teaming up again for The Internship, directed by Shawn Levy.
Clearly the cast and crew of The Amazing Spider-Man and it's sequel, were aware that using Gwen Stacy as the female lead in the new film series would eventually garner such implications. If she were to untimely fall off a bridge to her death, hopefully it will both honor her character and weave into the plot correctly somehow. But seeing as how Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone had such immense chemistry the first time around (not to mention their off screen relationship too), could the sequel afford to get rid of her?
Ty Burrell got his big break with the hit comedy series Modern Family. He'd acted in a substantial amount of movies before, but the show made him something of a household name, with his affable style of humor proving loveable for many. Another middled aged actor who got his big break in 2009 (albeit with a very different title) is Christoph Waltz. Waltz was previously set to star in the sequel to James Bobin's 2011 film The Muppets, but he has had to drop out due to other commitments. Burrell will replace Waltz, and is probably a more fitting choice for such a movie, although it would have been intriguing to see Waltz take on a direct comedy role given his obvious skills.
Arriving online today is the second trailer for Bryan Singer's Jack The Giant Slayer. If you recall, the first trailer popped up almost a year ago but wasn't received too well. And so, here we have a second look at the film which hopes to change your mind. But does it do the job?
Fans of LOL (whether real or sarcastic) - brace yourselves. The first trailer for Miley Cyrus' new film So Undercover, where Cyrus plays a teenage spy who goes undercover for the FBI at a sorority, has been released. Her FBI confidant is played by Jeremy Piven, whose dialogue is at the exact level one would assume for such a film. (Remember when he was winning Emmy Awards?)
Following the debut of two new character posters, Yahoo! Movies has debuted the trailer for director Seth Gordon's latest comedy, Identity Thief along with a couple of new images.
Angelina Jolie’s daughter Vivienne will be playing a minor role in Walt Disney Studios’ upcoming film Maleficent. The young girl will play Princess Aurora, the same character that Elle Fanning is set to play. Of course, Vivienne will play the character at a younger age in the film, which is currently scheduled for release in 2014.
