If you've been stuck in the post-console release drought, and have been wanting another title to play on your shiny new PlayStaion 4 or Xbox One, we have good news for you. The PS3 and PS4 versions of the latest title in Capcom's long-running Strider series will be available on February 18th with the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Steam versions to follow on the 19th. The game will be priced at $14.99 across all consoles.
If you've spent any amount of time browsing through the titles on the Xbox Live Indie Games store, there's a good chance you've seen the work of Jonathan and David Flook, better known as Silver Dollar Games. Essentially, they're a couple of brothers just having some fun and making some really silly games. The subjects of their games have included flatulence, telemarketers, pickup lines, animal sounds, fortune cookies, whiny children and trying to keep a cat away from your food. Oh, and cooties.
The second major update to Warframe is now available, and quite a bit has been included. The Cicero Crises update event tasks players with developing an anti-toxin and loading it into the Cicero Toxin injector, which the evil Grineer faction is using to poison the planet.
I've had some pretty harsh words for The Pinball Arcade throughout this review, but if even one of the many issues with the game is never fixed, it will still absolutely be worth owning. Hopefully, some day soon, The Pinball Arcade will be every bit of the full package that it should be. However, until that day comes, just know that it's a perfect diamond stone, set in a cheap tin ring.
Developer Farsight Studios is currently celebrating The Pinball Arcade 12 Days of Christmas on its Facebook page, and the first day's announcement gives PlayStation 4 owners a good reason to cheer. That's because it confirms that The Pinball Arcade will be available as a digital download starting this week, Dec. 17 in North America, and Dec. 18th in SCEE regions.
If you've been enjoying Warframe on your PlayStation 4 lately, you're about to have a lot more to enjoy as update 11 is now available. Just like the game itself, the update is free, and it includes quite a bit of new content.
If you own a PlayStaion 4, you really should be playing Warframe. Warframe is an online multiplayer shooter, played from a 3rd person perspective. The game is centered around a team of futuristic ninjas, and it has a lot in common with the multiplayer found in Mass Effect 3. As you play, you will unlock new character classes, weapons, and other assorted gear. You will also level your characters and equipment, and find loot drops from defeated enemies.
Magrunner: Dark Pulse is both a fun game and good value for fans of the first-person puzzle genre. However, you might want to temper your expectations before starting.
Developer Treyarch has featured a zombies mode in their last three Call of Duty games, and now it looks like Infinity Ward is perhaps about to start their own tradition, but with aliens. As a Call of Duty fan going by the name STMKZ has revealed to the world, the zombies equivalent in Call of Duty: Ghosts is called Extinction, and it will feature waves of bug-like aliens as your enemies. Perhaps even more interesting is what the rest of the leaked pictures tell us about the new game mode.
