Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton star as the titular siblings, who now work as assassins, killing off witches like the one who tortured them when they were kids. Sounds pretty badass to me.
The unsettling poster features the titular cabin in a position that I can only describe as Rubik's Cube-like, with the eerie tag like, "You think you know the story." Actually, I definitely don't.
This episode of Parks and Recreation starts out innocently enough. Ron (Nick Offerman) is concerned that the internet knows too much about him when he sees advertisements specially tailored to him. Once April (Aubrey Plaza) shows him Google Earth, he's had enough and he tosses his desktop into the trash. Typical.
New Zealand horror fanatics will have to find more creative ways to see Human Centipede 2, the sequel to Tom Six's disturbing and grotesque 2010 film, The Human Centipede.
Looks like we found the wrench in the well-oiled machine that is Ben (Adam Scott) and Leslie's (Amy Poehler) relationship in NBC's Parks and Recreation. Comedian Louis C.K. will return to the series as David Sanderson, a Pawnee police officer and Leslie's ex. Guess his job in San Diego is conveniently over.
The wildly funny HBO series, Flight of the Conchords, will be adapted into a film according to one of the show's stars, Bret McKenzie. McKenzie, along with Jemaine Clement, formed their band (also named Flight of the Conchords) in 1998. Instead of playing regular music, the two focused on comedy (think Demetri Martin) and gained a cult following, which led to HBO creating a series for them in 2007. The show ended after two seasons, but the band's popularity remains.
A new trailer for the fourth (yes, fourth) movie in the Ice Age franchise, Ice Age 4: Continental Drift was released earlier this week, and surprise surprise, it features Scrat the saber-tooth squirrel on his never-ending quest for his elusive acorn. Not exactly an innovative movie for a film series that uses nearly identical trailers for each new release.
Warner Brothers is continuing their huge tease of The Dark Knight Rises, the final film in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. The film's highly anticipated prologue will finally be released in select IMAX theaters on December 21. Previous rumors said that it would appear alongside Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (ugh) because of its premiere on the same day, but thankfully AMC announced the preview would only play on 70mm capable screens, which are more common at regular movie theaters, not just special IMAX ones.
In a statement that would probably cause a riot within the more distinguished film community, comedic legend Judd Apatow criticized the Academy Awards, saying comedies have only won Oscars five times in the past "zillion years."
Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Ben (Adam Scott) are in the process of creating Indiana’s smallest park! It’s gonna be great, because there are literally no possible negatives. However, Ben is still torn up about being around Leslie, and announces that after they finish the project, he's leaving the Parks Department.
